In all the things that happen on Christmas Eve it was cute Christmas morning. Katherine was awake and watching tv when I woke up. A little while later Nicholas came in to tell me that his diaper needed to be changed. Once it was changed he wanted me to lay in bed with him. About 20 minutes later Katherine came in to see if she could lay in Nick's bed with us. So there we lay watching Spongebob on Christmas morning. I would have been out to the tree and done with half the presents by this time when I was a kid but not them. Finally, Katherine goes to Nicholas "Nicholas do you know what day it is?" he says "yes" and then Katherine goes "it is Christmas Day." Nick goes "oh yeah!! Christmas" and they go back to watching Spongebob. About 15 minutes pass and Katherine says "I think it is time to go see all the presents" and Nick goes "OK let's go." Then off to get daddy up they went.
It was pretty cute way to start the morning.
