We decided to go up to Frazier Park for the afternoon to play in the snow. Nick got dressed up in Katherine's old riding gear and was ready to go make a snowman.
Katherine was excited to have a 2nd day of snow play since her school snow day was just the day before.
Nick took a nice nap on the way and woke up just as snow came in sight. He got so excited to see it.
Up the mountain we go to find a good spot to play :)
We found it and daddy & Nick try out one of the sleds.
My 2 guys walking back up for another go at it.
Katherine tried it as well but it wasn't really steep enough to get any kind of speed going.
So, she decided to try and make a snow angel. It didn't really work since the snow was to icy really.
Nick didn't care though and rolled around in the snow too!
Daddy found a place where he sunk into snow almost up to his hip. Nick went to make sure he was okay.
Katherine having a great time and was very happy.

On the hunt for a bigger hill that daddy can sled down to.
We found it and it went a little to fast for Katherine. She panicked and forgot to put her feet out to slow down. I went to catch her knowing she would take me out but she didn't want to hit me and steered around me and into the side of a tree. She did not get hurt but got scared and didn't want to do that hill again.
She at least looked happy about it all though. I think she didn't want to scare her brother since he was having fun.
Then it was time to just sit, relax, and eat snow.
We told Katherine there were bears in the mountains and hopefully he hadn't gone to the bathroom on the snow she just ate :). Yes, we are mean but it was fun.
It didn't stop her though.
The day was done and this was are view going back down the hill. It was really pretty.
We have a squirrel we feed and we put out another pumpkin for her. She was having a good time eating it. also, put out an apple and that was gone super fast.
