Katherine's Report Card

Well we had our first teacher parent conference today with Katherine's kindergarten teacher. She is doing good. Needs to slow down some when doing class work but that is a common thing all kindergartner's tend to do cause they always want to be the first done, or first in line etc. My out going little girl tends to be a little shy in class but the teacher is thinking that is because if she is not 100% of the answer she won't participate and raise her hand to answer. She doesn't want to give the wrong answer. When I asked Katherine about this tonight her response to me was "she might be a little right about that." Her teacher said she is an absolute sweetheart and she is so glad to have her in her class. That Katherine is nice to everyone and if someone complains that so & so doesn't want to platy with them she always sends them to find Katherine because Katherine will be nice to them. Also, Katherine has been progressing on her letters and sounds very well and they are going to try her in a reader on Monday and see how that go's. The goal is to have her reading by Thanksgiving break and her teacher thinks she is ready for it.
On a lighter note Katherine has "another" boyfriend. His name is Ben and he is in her class. According to her she is going to marry him. She has given up on Zachary since she doesn't get to see him that much. She is so funny.. she will be a hand full with the boys when she gets older. Hope Graham will be ready to deal with it. Will need to bring the shotgun out of hiding :)
