Friday night a monsoon rolled into Scottsdale and it was sooo awesome!!! We had rain, wind, thunder and LOTS of lightening!!! I LOVED it!!! Nick wasn't a huge fan of it but Katherine, Graham, & I sat on the balcony and watched it for awhile. A tree in the pool area actually fell over in the wind. The next morning it was still cloudy. Nick checking it all out when he got up that morning.

The clouds hanging over the mountains.

There were jack rabbits that came out every evening to eat in the grass.

Last time to swim in the pool. I had arranged for late check out so we were not rushed.

Nicholas enjoying his last swim as well. We were in the pool very early that morning.

He had no fear of the water and just thought he was the bomb. He wouldn't even wait for us to get in the pool with him.

Getting ready to jump in to daddy.

He did it a couple times.

Katherine had to join in the fun.

Playing with the football.

So, we left our hotel at about 12:20 that afternoon. We had lunch at the Charleston which was a BBQ place. Then headed out. About 145 I received a call from my mom that my grandpa had been readmited back to the hospital. He was alright but had taken to much of his medicine and had been unresponsive to my grandma trying to wake him up. So that worried me but I couldnt do much since we were 6 hours away. By the time we hit Blythe I knew my grandpa was fine but staying in the hospital overnight. But then Katherine's ear was acting up again. Gave her some Tylenlol and she settled down some. We stopped in Palm Springs for dinner at 600ish. As we were leaving Beaumont Katherine started saying her ear was hurting again. We got off the freeway so I could give her more Tylenlol. It helped for about 30 minutes and then she was crying pretty bad. We looked up the nearest Kaiser and ended up in the emergency room in Baldwin Park. We got into see a doctor very quickly and she had a inner & outer ear infection. We got her prescription filled there and was then on our way home again. Nicholas & Graham say this leaf bug outside while they were waiting for us.
