Pismo Beach July 2009

We have arrived in Pismo Beach.Katherine checking out the waves as Graham airs down to drive on the beach with the trailer.
A sea gull having some lunch.

All settled in and the kids are playing on the quads as usual.

Mommy's little happy girl :)

Katherine saying good bye to Nicholas before she goes on a ride with daddy. He thought she was funny in her helmet. He had just showered off so he could go down for a nap with mommy.

There is my little rider :)

Graham had to tow her out to the harder sand. Her tires were just to small to get through the soft sand where our trailer was parked at.

Saturday Katherine did not ride but the kids still had fun playing on the quads. Katherine and I also went to the beach and she played in the water for a long time. It was COLD and didn't get any warmer the longer you were in it.

Katherine rescueing Nick. ha! Ha!

Nicholas will play on them when they are off but not a real big fan when the motor is running.

Our little set up. We were a little ways away from our group which makes it better since the kids go down earlier and then we don't have everyone partying outside our trailer.

He is such a cry baby at times. Didn't want his picture taken.

He had fun playing soccer with Andrew and Gavin.

Enjoyed a quick walk down to the beach to play with my camera.

Traffic on the beach was mild at this time.

Dinner time is always so much better.....

when you get to watch Sponge Bob Square Pants

Graham watching someone trying to get unstuck in the sand.

It always sucks when you bury yourself in the sand. We have all been there and we gotta love digging a truck out. :)

The view of some of the dunes from our trailer.
Katherine was being grouchy by this time. She soon feel alseep for the night after this picture.

Cheese!!!!!

While sister feel alseep Nick had fun playing outside.

Graham enjoying the sunset and beer while he BBQ's.

Nicholas and I went down to the beach to watch the sunset together while Katherine and Graham slept by this time.

It was a really pretty sunset. It was also really cold. You could see your breathe at times.

Nick was cold and wanted to go back to the trailer. I was pretty cold by this time as well and didn't agrue with him. It has been so hot at our house that I didn't really pack any warm clothes for our trip. It never drawned on me that we would need them but atleast we all had a sweat shirt.

It is now Sunday morning and we are getting ready to head home.

Nick playing around in daddy's truck while we do some loading.

Enjoying the last of my beach time.

Such a happy boy that morning :)

Katherine bringing her quad to the truck to get loaded up.

Graham had to tow her to the truck but she thought it was so cool cause she didn't have to wear all her gear.

Nicholas driving home (so he thinks)

Katherine posing for mommy.

Showing her true colors. Ha! Ha!

One of the rigs that were part of our group. Makes our trailer look really sad.

Katherine being silly while daddy loads up the quads in his truck.

Our trailer :)

Katherine trying out her poutty face on me.

This dog was so cute and friendly. He just stayed in the back of his truck while his master went surfing. He has been doing it since he was a puppy he told us.

So here is the big yellow tow truck. If you get stuck and can't dig out Steve will come and help you for $500.00 cash :). yes, I said "cash."

My 2 silly monkeys.

There not so little feet.

The hills of sanata Ynez on our way home. We had to make a stop while Graham changed a flat tire on the trailer.

Poor Graham it was hot outside.

Katherine and I watched Hairspray while he did it.

The tv's for the truck are soooo worth the money.

Nick just kept sleeping luckily :)

Katherine in a outside garden by Andersen's Split Pea Soup resturant where we had lunch.

Graham convinced Katherine a couple years ago that this island used for the oil rigs is really Hawaii. I don't know how convinced she really is anymore cause she has said in the past that it doesn't look like where Dog the Bounty Hunter lives.

Ah, it is The Pierpont Inn where we got married almost 9 years ago :)
