Sunday

On Sunday we had a very busy day. While Nick and I stayed home and played and did laundry Katherine & daddy went on a bike ride to Junkyard for breakfast and then on the way home stopped and played at the park. Mommy's happy boy!!!

When Katherine got home she went to lay down and rest before our big night. Nick wanted to be with his sister cause he missed her while she was gone.

We went to Laura & Gene's hose for a BBQ that night. They have a house on a horse ranch in Chatsworth.

They had 3 baby horses in one of the stalls. Katherine and Nick loved seeing them.

Now this is not what it might look like. Katherine was trying to call the horses but she has a hard time figuring out what fingers to use. So it looks like she is actually flipping them off :)

So much to see and do they didn't know which way to go first.

At one point a horse had got out of it's stall and was running around. Graham saved the day and scared it into an arena & shut the gate behind it.

Well the horse did not like Aunt Laura at one point and try to kick her off. Laura waited for the right time and dismounted herself to save her self major injury. She picked the mud puddle to fall into since it was a little softer then the regular ground.

The kids loved the ranch!! Besides all the horses they also got to see alot of bunnies and a couple of dogs. There was an owl near by that we heard an owl as the sun went down. It was so quiet and peaceful. A pleasant way to spend a Sunday evening with friends and food at the ranch :)
