A Crazy week so far.....

So, nothing is ever dull when you have children as you might know. On Monday Nicholas decided to get his own apple juice out of the frig but it was one of the big ones from Costco that was new. Needless to say it hit the floor shattered open and well you know the rest. What a huge sticky mess. Later that night Nicholas just kept it going. As he was going into his bedroom after his shower he let it flow right onto the carpet. Just like he was marking his territory.
Then Tuesday comes around....
Katherine has a pink stuffed cat named Custard that she loves and sleeps with every night. She also has a purple dog named Cupcake and a tiger named Baby. Well, with siblings they tend to want to have the same things that the other has. So, needless to say Nick also has a pink cat, purple dog, and tiger. Ok, with that all said we finally got the kids to stay in bed and Nicholas was asleep. Then here comes Katherine into our room and she says "mommy this isn't my dog it has a rough back. It has been sewn up again and is Nick's." So I tell her to go back to bed and I will go get hers out of Nick's room. Before I can even take 2 steps she then informs me that she can't find Custard either and she thinks it is in my car. So, I tell Graham to switch out the dogs and I will go look for Custard. Now Nick is sound asleep when I go outside. As I walk back into the house carrying Custard I hear Nick crying. Then here comes Graham walking out of Nick's room carrying a pink cat that he thought was Katherine's Custard. See he saw it under Nick and pried it away from the sleeping child who is now crying hysterically. Katherien and I both say "that's not Custard!!" I hand the real Custard to Katherine and take the other pink cat back into Nick's room & give it to him. I get him to calm down, then switched out the dogs. Now, poor Graham is standing in Katherine's room looking totally confused. He goes "they both have pink cats and purple dogs?" "Yup" we say and then Graham goes "what about baby?" "Yup that too" I reply. Then because he is still confused I had to keep going with it so I replied "Yes, if you were a real dad you would know that Custard is old and looks it but Nick's cat looks new, Cupcake has a smooth back and Nick's dog has a rough line since it has been resewned and Baby has no bow around the neck but Nick's does". It was a funny moment.
Then tonight Wednesday... all was going well. Then Nick comes out to the kitchen looking for me since he was done in the shower. He is standing next to me and Graham asks him "did you go potty anywhere Nick?" Nick says "ya" & Graham goes "where?" With that my son pees right there on the kitchen floor. graham then looks at me and says " i guess that's what I get for asking huh?"
I can't wait to see what tomorrow shall bring to our household :)
