Mommy & Daughter Night

All the sudden one day it just hits you... your kids are growing up. Tonight was one of those nights for me. I had to go back over to work to pick up payroll so I suggested dinner in Thousand Oaks. Graham just wanted to go home to watch Hockey Playoffs. So, we split the kids... Graham kept Nick and Katherine went with me. We decided we would go out to dinner first and then go to my work. So, off to our first girls only dinner destination Cheesecake Factory at the mall. I gave Katherine the choice of sitting inside or outside. She picked outside so it would not be so loud when we were talking according to her. She picked her food and wanted to order herself. It was a nice dinner and she did amazingly well and boy was she in heaven to get her own strawberry cheesecake. But once we were home f0r the evening the little monster child was back in her environment and it was back to making her brother's life miserable like only a big sister can. So for just a few hours I saw the child she will grow into and it was nice and once we were home she was my little girl that drives me crazy at times but I hope she takes her time in growing up :)
